Setting:

This book takes place in two main continents, Africa, and North America, and takes place after the events of “Charlie Thorne and the Lost City”. The main character of this book is Charlie Thorne, a young girl genius. This book is an adventure-mystery, and is told in third person.

Plot:

Charlie Thorne is laying low in Egypt after solving Charles Darwin’s greatest discovery, and hacking into the CIA to find out what other genius had great, unheard-of discoveries. Now Charlie plans to solve the mystery of Cleopatra, and what she hid from the world. Though as Charlie could do it alone, she ends up working with CIA agents Milana Moon, and Dante Garcia, who happens to be Charlie’s half-brother. The group must decipher the riddle of Cleopatra, but also stay alive from the many enemies that are willing to get the treasure of Cleopatra at all costs. These enemies come in all shapes and sizes, from African intelligence agencies to eccentric billionaires. Will Charlie be able to find the treasure of Cleopatra, and come out alive?

Recommendation:

This book is probably the best one in the series so far. The treasure of Cleopatra was something I never expected, and it brought a whole new level of competition to the hunt. Charlie is calm, very smart, and is a great character for this type of book series. So, I recommend you read this book, after you read the others.
