I’ve read this book 4 times, partially because it’s good and partially because I own it. This book, as the title says, is about school for, you guessed it, SPIES! It is told in first person, so you get a firsthand account of what happens. As the first book in a decent sized series, it may be overlooked by the more exciting, more adventurous later books,(read this series!) it still is a decent book.
Ben Ripley is a normal teenager, with one exception. He can solve the hardest math problem in the blink of an eye! That is why he is recruited to the CIA’s Academy of Espionage. He soon realizes that being a spy is not what Hollywood says it is. Ben soon gets tangled in a evil scheme by a secret organization, ( If you want to know that organization’s name, READ THE BOOK!) which is filled with adventure, highs, lows, and a one mole.
