Setting:

This book is a non-fiction autobiography, that tells the journey of Tim Howard, a goalkeeper. It takes place from 1979-present, and is told in first person. This book takes place all over the world.

Plot:

Tim Howard was born in New Jersey, and lived his childhood there with his mom and brother, Chris. Tim was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome, but that did not stop him from doing his favorite thing, soccer. His soccer career started in New Jersey, moving from pee-wee to travel, from travel to national. It continued to grow and grow, going from MLS to Premier League. When he is contracted to play for the U.S National team in the 2014 World Cup, it may all come down to his goalkeeping abilities. Throughout all of this, he managed his relationships, his money, and most of all, his Tourette Syndrome. This book shows the story of Tim Howard, the rises and the falls, the good times, and the bad, all in this one story.

Recommendation:

This book is one of the best non-fiction books I have read. It shows a true story of a real-life person, and their struggles. It draws you in real close, and the author is very inviting, not being discrete or confusing. I loved it, and you should read it too!
