The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell, filled with magic, adventure, and lots of suspense, but the books that succeed it, in my opinion, were more exciting. Currently there are 6 books in this series, a 3 book prequel series, and some random assorted side stories. This book is real-life fantasy, but it does not take place mainly in the real world. (To know where, keep reading. It’s probably in the summary) It is a decent-sized book, but worth it, hopefully.
The main characters of this book are twins, but they have totally different personalities. The girl, Alex, is shy, smart, and loves to read. Connor, the boy, is completely different. He is carefree, has writing talent but doesn’t use it till later, and is outgoing. One day, they are transported to the magical land of “The Land of Stories”. (See, told you it probably was there.) Here, they meet fairy tale characters from the books they read as children. But, everything is not all right. To get home, Alex and Connor must complete the fabled Wishing Spell, a spell that will grant you what ever you want. But will they finish it before the evil Enchantress does?
