Setting:

This book takes place in the U.S.A. The main character of this book is Fort Fitzgerald, a 12-year-old boy who knows magic. The genre of this book is fantasy, and it is told in third person. This is the final book in the series, and this book takes place around modern times.

Plot:

Fort has his father back, and would love for his world to return to normal However, that is not a possibility at the moment. Damian has mastered all six types of magic, and is ready to carry out his plan. Damian believes he is the Chosen One, the magician destined to fight the Old Ones and destroy them once and for all. However, when the Time students look into the future, they do not see Damian winning. They see the Earth conquered by the Old Ones, and humanity enslaved. Fort, Rachel, and Jia have two plans. First, stop Damian before he summons the Old Ones. But if that does not work, destroy magic once and for all. Fort could probably take down Damian because he happens to know the entire language of magic. But every time he uses a spell from the magic language, he has visions. These visions may be showing a possible future, one where the Old Ones lost. Fort does not think the way that Damian will be beat, and that the only way to win is by destroying magic. So when Jia and Rachel are gearing up for the fight against Damian, Fort journeys to the past, and sees the city of Atlantis. There, he sees that the Old Ones were normal Atlantans. They became masters of magic, but it disfigured them into horrible creatures. Next, Fort sees the day when magic was hidden from everybody. At this spot, Fort receives Merlin's dying words. Also, he becomes the (blank). But even with the power of the (blank), can Fort destroy the Old Ones? Or will he have to destroy magic once and for all?

Recommendation:

First off, I know you're probably wondering why I left those blanks in the Plot. This is because if I filled in the blanks with the actually words, it would be a major spoiler. Also, this book was so good! It ended the series super well. I finally got the backstory of the Old Ones that I was looking for, and it was super cool. The battle with Damian was awesome, as was the one with the Old Ones. I would have loved to have a 6th book, but as I said earlier, it ended the series super well. So, if you have read the entire Revenge of Magic series up to this point, don't stop now. READ THIS BOOK!!!
